I know it’s hectic, but I really like being in town, all the festivities, like, we’re going to the holiday party and we’re going to pick out our Christmas tree, we’re always playing tag at the Christmas tree stand. That’s one of my favorite things about the family.”
One of Duff’s holiday traditions happens when her kids are out of the house. “We assemble the tree, and then when the children go to school, I change all the decorations and put them where they really belong,” he jokes.

They continued to grow their family when daughter Mae, 3, arrived in 2021. Duff and Koma, 37, welcomed their third child. , daughter of Townes, on May 3.
This year, Duff introduced a new tradition that’s fun for the whole family. “We’ve been swimming at night with hot cocoa,” he revealed. “It’s a bit spoiled because we heat the pool and make it too hot, but we go out there to swim at night with the cocos. Sometimes I will have a glass of red wine. It’s really nice. We try to do it during the week so the kids – it takes, like, 30 minutes, but the kids feel like it’s something special and it’s not an ordinary night here. “
He adds: “We go on Christmas day and go ice skating, and that’s the holidays.”
Although the holidays come with a lot of excitement, they can also be stressful, especially for parents. “The burden is heavy on mothers,” said Duff Us. “I wake up in the middle of the night like, ‘Oh, I have these things that I didn’t bring.’ … So, I’m going slowly but I’m getting ready again [am] definitely. I love the holiday season, but being an adult now and making it magical for so many people is huge.”
To help keep things organized, Duff is working with Meta AI, which he describes as a “thinking partner.”
He explains: “It’s just something you can settle your thoughts on, and it will come [up] with ideas. … [If] my usual method for this part of the holiday has expired, what can i do? Or [it can] help me compile these lists. ‘I have done this. What can I add to it? I’ll be in this part of town.’ It’s really amazing that we have this assistant for people, one, who don’t have access to a regular assistant. One day I had to bring an appetizer and I was like, ‘I have this, this and this. What do I do about it?’ And it helped me.”
He continues: “I have my assistant and I still need him.”
