Florence “Fireball Flo” Hackman, the Ohio woman who went viral last year after receiving photos of her birthday party, just turned 106 — and she’s still drinking Fireball.
“Flo brightens our days and reminds us of all the fun and joy we can have later in life,” Kristen Kelly, executive director of the Traditions of Deerfield Senior Living Center in Loveland, Ohio, where Hackman lives, told Fox News Digital.
Hackman’s cheerful attitude is “an inspiring way of life, and we love him for it,” Kelly said.

He was born on Dec. 16, 1918, “Fireball Flo” puts her long life in good spirits.
“I just try to be nice to people and try to go one day at a time — that’s all,” Hackman said in a quote published by Traditions of Deerfield.

“If you get that one day, you can move on to the next,” he said.
“So that’s what you have to do – one day at a time – think about what I have to do today. You have to keep going as long as you can.”

There may also be genetics to his longevity: His mother lived to be 104.
In a video posted on Hackman’s birthday, he can be seen thanking everyone for coming out to celebrate him and encouraging them to “have a lot of fun here.”

His family was “always very happy, and I never passed that on … So maybe that’s why I’ve been here so long,” he said with a laugh.
Hackman appeared to heed his advice.

He sang “Happy Birthday” and drank alcohol before blowing out the candles on his chocolate-covered birthday cake.
The Ohio native and die-hard Cincinnati Bengals fan was also recognized by the team on his birthday.

He hopes the Bengals, currently 6-8 and third in the AFC North, will return to the Super Bowl.
“I hope they go to the Super Bowl, and they would certainly like that. That would be a big thing. And, I think, I hope they do it while I’m here,” Hackman said.
