RHOBH Recap: Drama Unfolds and Curses Fly at Kyle Richards’ Party
Kyle Richards hosted a “first time” solo soiree on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and the drinks were flowing – but so was the drama.
Kyle, 55, unveiled the idea for her Denim and Diamonds party at the beginning of Tuesday’s episode, December 17. She explained in her confessional that it “feels good” to host the event without her husband Mauricio Umansky. (Kyle and Mauricio separated in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage.)
“There was always something going wrong that he would help with,” said Kyle. “I feel strange. I don’t know what to put on the invitations. … I feel a little lost.”
Kyle’s anxious feelings seemed to subside – at least until then Camille Grammer they came to the event. Kyle confided in Camille, 56, saying it had been “really bad” dealing with her split from Mauricio.
“You’re in this bachelor pad, there’s no strings attached,” Kyle said. Camille replied, “It’s their party. Midlife crisis, this is fun, little girls. … I know it. I was there, it did that.”
Kyle admitted that he thought Camille was “sort of planning” while re-examining her confessional. (Camille was married to him Kelsey Grammer from 1997 to 2010. The end of their marriage was written RHOBH season 1.)
“Did Mau make a few things I could live without, that I had to see on the internet? “Yeah, sure,” Kyle continued. “But Camille’s experience and my experience are both very different. I mean, it could be worse.”
As the event progresses, They will stop at Saint John decided to “call a council of nations” to discuss what happened in Oceanside in last week’s episode. (Dorit Kemsley he got into a fight with Kyle once Sutton Stracke.)
Things between Sutton, 53, and Dorit, 48, turned sour when they sat down with the full cast.
“You are angry and you are not angry with me. You’re angry about your life,” Sutton said, referring to Dorit’s breakup with him PK Kemsley. “Don’t take me out. It is not my fault that you are in this situation.”
Kyle called Sutton’s announcement a “low blow” to his confession. “Why would you say that to him right now? However, I agree but I won’t say that to him right now,” he added.
Dorit was quick to respond. (Elsewhere in the episode, Dorit said Sutton doesn’t give an “if—” about what she’s going through.)
“I’m open and I’m honest and I’m honest and I’m open,” she said. “My life is painful right now. I’m not in a good place at all and I don’t tolerate a lot of bulls at all—. It’s that simple. How can that transparency and honesty and openness be done?”
Camille said she was “sorry for barging in” but wanted to add her two cents about Dorit.
“Years ago, my house burned down. I lost my house, I lost my helper of many years and I didn’t get much sympathy or compassion from others — especially Dorit,” she said. Dorit replied, “Honey, you were a c— to me.”
All of RHOBH the women were surprised by Dorit’s speech.
“You were totally c to me. … I called you a stupid c—. Not af-ing c-. I made it a joke,” continued Dorit, speaking about the 8th season. “I said you’re stupid c— as a joke. You know I did. … You always knew that, Camille.”
Dorit also reflected on her RHOBH past in her confessional.
“I once regretted calling Camille [spells out c—]. Now, I feel like Camille is a stupid f—ing c—.”
Camille went on to say that Dorit “puts herself down” often puts the other one down RHOBH “caught.”
“Where have you been Camille? What else are you doing here?” said Dorit. “What are you doing here? You need a moment.”
Camille then remembered meeting Dorit for the first time Erika Jayne — but forgot Erika’s name.
“My name is Erika,” he said with a laugh. (In her confession, Erika simply said: “C—.”)
“You’re a different person now, Dorit,” Camille continued back to the party. “I don’t know what happened to you, but you have changed.”
