Free Christmas Craft Stream, No More Controversy

The holiday season tends to get into a lot of controversy, and we’re not talking about the one your weird uncle started after having one too many eggs. No, this is the debate to end all debates: whether or not a certain action classic is a Christmas movie. However, at this point, the haters need to just admit it Die Hard it’s a holiday tradition, and if you doubt that indisputable fact, streaming it for free on Tubi will change your mind.

Die Hard it is a true cinematic masterpiece, and it earned its reputation long before the advent of broadcast. The plot is well organized: a New York detective heads to Los Angeles to rekindle a spark with his estranged wife, and that brings him to Nakatomi Tower, where he enjoys a Christmas party with his colleagues. However, when mysterious bad guys take over the tower, the veteran detective finds that there’s no time for romance as he becomes a one-man army to take on an army of shriveled terrorists.

If you watch Die Hard in the broadcast, you’ll see some very familiar faces, including the late, great Alan Rickman as terrorist leader Hans Gruber. And for moviegoers of a certain age, it’s always a treat to see Reginald VelJohnson, Family Matters a patriarch who just can’t get away with playing iconic cops on screen. But no one stands out more in this film than Bruce Willis: casting him was a studio risk that paid off, transforming a television character best known for the hit series. Moonlight he became one of the most famous movie stars in the world.

If you hesitate to put Die Hard at the evening’s screenings, you’re probably asking what makes this movie so good. The short answer is that it combines killer action scenes with very clever storytelling, and it’s rewarding to see that our main hero and villain are equally able to surprise (not to mention the audience). The movie is full of quotable dialogue, but it never becomes a joke itself, and that feels refreshing after the dialogue-They don’t take revenge (or maybe we should say the post “well, that it just happened!”) in the world.

Frankly, those sequels give us diminishing returns, and your enjoyment of the later entries will depend largely on how much you enjoy seeing Willis perform his human action routine.
