Evelyn Lozada’s Daughter Shaniece Welcomes Baby Through Game
Evelyn Lozada grandma — and just let us in on the big family issues! His daughter Shaniece Hairston welcomed a boy with The game.
Basketball Wives ubuntu posted a sweet photo of the new addition to her family on Friday, December 6.
Lozada, 48, wrote an emotional caption alongside the photo, tagging her daughter and the rapper: “This little angel with blue eyes made me a grandmother, and I am forever grateful! 🥹❤️You have brought so much joy to my life that words cannot even describe. I love you more than anything, Blaze Taylor! 🍼✨ #GrandmaLove #ForeverGrateful #BlazeTaylor.”
This photo was an Instagram photo taken from rapper The Game (real name Jayceon Terrell Taylor). His post contains a sweet caption dedicated to his son. “A beautiful baby boy overload. ‘Blaze Taylor’ I love you son,” wrote the 45-year-old.
Lozada’s daughter recently gave birth to a baby boy in October. The show previously welcomed a son in April 2007 and daughter Cali in August 2010 with Tiffney Cambridge. Her firstborn is a 21-year-old son, Harlem.
Hairston, 31, a content creator and yoga instructor, announced her family update to the world during a November interview with Life & Style magazine.
In the interview, she opened up about her journey as a new mother, and her relationship with her new son.
“I don’t want to leave him. “It’s clear that I go to the gym or I’ve been coming to the gym, but that’s good for me, you know, and going back to him,” he said. But it’s just a big meeting, a big skin on the skin. When I leave my mom and go to the gym, I’m like, ‘Are you okay? Have you eaten? Are you sleeping? Are you asleep?’ … They tell you it’s like an indescribable love and a journey.”
For his part, Lozada made news this year for his interview about parenthood with a former MLB player Carl Crawford.
“I think sometimes people don’t understand my relationship with him,” Lozada told Us Weekly exclusively in July. “They might think there’s something going on, but mostly we’re just good friends. … It’s really about having a healthy breeding relationship.”
Lozada and Crawford have a 10-year-old son, Leo. (Lozada shares Shaniece with ex Jamal Hairston.)
“We just make it work,” he told us. “We don’t have drama. It’s pretty close to being true. I appreciate that because I think about Leo, seeing that his dad and I have a good relationship and I can go to dinner with him and Leo, just sharing time and space with him. I think it’s beneficial for him.”
