Transgender parents want an end to the ‘killing’ of children through gender reassignment surgery
Ex-transgenders, parents and activists braved freezing temperatures Wednesday morning to rally outside the US Supreme Court to demand an end to the “butchery” and “torture” of transgender children.
The rally took place while the court was hearing oral arguments US v. Skrmettithe highest-profile case regarding the constitutionality of Tennessee’s ban on puberty and child transgender surgery.
One of the rally’s speakers, Matt Walsh, host of the Daily Wire podcast and creator of the documentary “What Is A Woman,” told Fox News Digital that the case is about “ground truth.”
“The trans agenda represents a unique, unique threat to children. We have to stand up and protect ourselves, that’s what this is all about,” he said. “If the Supreme Court gets this case right, we could be looking at the eventual death of the gender stereotypes industry. That’s what we want, and that’s what’s at stake.”

The rally was organized by a group of different groups, including the medical organization Do No Harm, the Heritage Foundation, Catholic Vote and the LGB Alliance.
One member of the LGB Alliance, Glenna Goldis, of Brooklyn, told Fox News Digital that many lesbian, gay and bisexual people see sex reassignment therapy as a form of conversion therapy.
“Many gays feel strongly about this issue,” he said. “But we can’t get our voices out, because the LGBTQ lobby has a lot of money, and it’s destroying us, and it’s pretending that they’re speaking for gay people, but they’re not.”

There was also a significant presence of former transgender people – “detransitioners” – many of whom said they did not want more children to experience the negative health consequences they endured as a result of sex-change treatments.
A woman named Laura Becker, told Fox News Digital that she has given up on these treatments after realizing they cause incredible damage and trauma.
“My defense is about treating trauma instead of permanently mutilating the bodies of vulnerable children and youth like me,” she said. “I took testosterone when I was 19, and I had a mastectomy when I was 20, even though I was suicidal. I was finally diagnosed with PTSD two years later, right after the transition.”
“I was already traumatized, which made me have a problem with knowing myself, [and] I was even more traumatized by the treatment,” Becker said. “That’s a lasting effect that I’ve lived with for the rest of my life.”

Another Claire A., from Maryland, whose name is Claire A., told Fox News Digital that most people who undergo sex reassignment surgery and treatment suffer from traumatic events associated with the transition.
“I began to be treated for the trauma I experienced in childhood that led to me being a different person, and through that treatment, I was cured of the pain that made me feel the need to change my body,” she said.
Despite completing her treatment, Claire said she continues to experience daily pain.
“I’ve been off testosterone for three years, and I’m still dealing with pelvic floor dysfunction,” she said. “My voice hurts, I can’t raise my voice very much, it hurts to talk. It hurts. My joints hurt. It’s not a happy life. I would like to keep other children from being forced to live this life.”
There were also several parents of transgender children who were denied custody and access to their children because they did not want to confirm their identity.
“I haven’t held my son in four years, my son is six now,” said Adam Vena, a father from California, told Fox News Digital.
Vena said that with the encouragement of her son’s mother, her child, Aidan, started transitioning into a girl at the age of two. Two years later, Vena said, she lost custody of her son, “because I was not a gender-affirming parent.”

“The California court ordered my son to go to the sex clinic at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles when I asked to sit in for a sex test, he forbade me to ask my questions like his father,” she explained. “They also denied me a phone call. Therefore, being a father is completely cut off from my son’s life.”
Harrison Tinsley, another California father who recently won custody of his son, told Fox News Digital, “I think this is the greatest evil of our time, like our lobotomy or slavery, the mutilation of transgender children.”
“Time to stop this now,” Tinsley said. “The Supreme Court will rule the right way, and I hope that Trump and Congress can stop this government, stop the mutilation of children and stop this irreparable damage.”
