Kelley Flanagan Explains Cheating Scandal With Ex-Boyfriend

Bachelor alum Kelly Flanagan he recently got married after his divorce Ari Raptissaying they broke up over his infidelity and his subsequent lies.

“For the past year and a half, I’ve been in love and, I mean, great things have been going on,” Flanagan, 32, said on the Wednesday, November 27, episode of the “Office Chicks” podcast without saying. According to Flanagan, he chose not to share different stories on social media at the request of Raptis. Weeks later, the reality TV alum heard rumors that Raptis was “telling people he’s single” and “took a girl home” in the middle of the night.

“I reached out and said, ‘Hey, I have to announce that I’m single. I don’t want to be, like, hearing these things. “I just took off the Band-Aid and he begged me to give him back after that,” she said. “Of course there was a period of a month, maybe a little bit but not much, when we couldn’t communicate, there was no communication. We finished and he heard my opinion and I said to him, ‘This is how I felt.'”

Raptis then asked Flanagan for a chance to “really change” just before they officially moved in together. Their “recent” romance hit a cliff when Flanagan received a message that encouraged him to reevaluate what they had together.

“I’m confused about it all,” Flanagan added through tears. “I think the example he would set in our relationship was like, we’re very strict … he’d say things, like, ‘Don’t ever put yourself in a situation that could jeopardize our relationship.'”

In the “hot” message, Flanagan received a tip that Raptis “was very disrespectful and [was] cheating” to him.

“I was like, ‘What’s going on? What is this?’ There was something I felt all summer and I thought things weren’t right because he was going to leave [travel] and he doesn’t answer me, he doesn’t text me at night or the girls follow him around,” Flanagan said. “I was asking him about it and he made me feel like it was my fans who were following him.”

Despite Raptis’ apparent denials, Flanagan did “deep dives” to confirm that his new social media followers were abroad at the same time. He also continued to deny that he was talking to other girls while we were dating.

When Flanagan moved into Raptis’ apartment, he found another woman’s jewelry in a closet. She said it was bought on Amazon for a Halloween party. He later met a woman in Miami who said she was connected to Raptis and gave Flanagan “receipts” from their dealings.

When Flanagan confronted Raptis, he kept denying the charges.

“He ran into him in August and he’s still working well with him, sitting with his family at his desk,” the former lawyer said. “I was like, ‘Damn, damn, damn.’ He sends me all the evidence and I go to him and I say, ‘Do you want to be honest with me?’

As similar situations continued to occur, Raptis was said to begin to admit “very small” pieces of the truth.

“He was like, ‘You took a girl’s number in June at a bar in Philly,'” Flanagan recalled. “I was like, ‘OK’ and he’s like, ‘When I was in DC, I got another girl’s number, but I didn’t go to dinner.’ … I was like, ‘At this point, you’re going to need to give me a lobotomy to literally believe anything that comes out of your mouth.'”

It is alleged that Flanagan tried to break up with Raptis “several times this summer” when he began to realize that his behavior was “bad.” He only accepted her pleas to stop when he said “he’s done.”

Flanagan now works in therapy.

“It’s still so new that I haven’t done it yet,” she said. “I know I’m going to go and I’m going to be fine at the end of the day. I just know that I have to focus on myself and get myself back to the place where I was happy with my friends, do the things I love and that’s the only thing I can do right now.”
