Selling Sunset’s Chelsea Lazkani ‘Eager’ To End Her Marriage ASAP
Chelsea Lazkani she is ready to commit her marriage to a husband who does not divorce her Jeff Lazkani in the past.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weeklyi Selling Sunset star, 31, filed a response to Jeff’s October filing to be legally single on Monday, November 25. With Chelsea’s papers, she agreed to divorce and end their marital status under certain legal conditions.
“Chelsea is not stopping this case and not delaying it,” read the doctors. “In fact, he is determined to end this marriage as soon as possible.”
In his papers filed on October 18, Jeff, 40, said, “[Chelsea] and I have not been able to resolve our issue in the last seven months since this issue started. I would like to move forward with my life and I am asking this court to terminate my marital status.”

In her responsive court filing, Chelsea said Jeff “constantly caused delays by failing” to respond on time. She also alleged that Jeff changing his legal counsel has also “derailed” their divorce.
Chelsea’s attorney said in the papers that the reality star “agrees to terminate the marriage.” However, he is asking the court to protect him according to the court order procedure that is only authorized by the state in their divorce.
Chelsea wants “adequate protection” for herself and her young children. The exes share son Maddox, 5, and daughter Melia, 6. Until a decision is made about Chelsea and Jeff’s community assets, the real estate agent wants to be the sole beneficiary of their financial accounts, business LLCs and trusts.
At the pair’s next hearing — scheduled for Dec. 10 — Chelsea wants a “clear record” of the court’s intent to grant Jeff’s previous request for an injunction, according to the documents.
Earlier this year, Chelsea filed for divorce from Jeff after seven years of marriage. When Chelsea submitted her papers in March, Jeff filed a response the following month.
Neither Chelsea nor Jeff have spoken publicly about what caused their split. But in Jeff’s filing last month, he cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
“I do not believe that the passage of time, counseling or any other help from the Court can save our marriage,” said Jeff according to the documents. “I don’t believe it at all [Chelsea] and I was able to solve our problems and get together.”
