Along with the cute captions were a few pictures of Billy Ray and Miley, from when they were kids, to Hannah Montana red carpets, to perform together at Glastonbury Festival in 2019.
Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrusand shared a post celebrating his daughter via Instagram. “Happy Birthday Little!!!” wrote his Saturday text. “I can’t believe you are turning 32 today…. Time flies fast…. I love you so much ❤️@mileycyrus.”

As for Miley and Billy Ray, the father-daughter duo seems to have been estranged ever since they split from Tish in 2022 after nearly 30 years of marriage. Along with Miley, Tish and Billy share children Brandi36, Follow up34, Braison,29, and Noah24.
“The family situation hasn’t been the same since the split, and since Tish and Billy Ray have been with other people, there’s been a big rift between them all,” the source said. Us Weekly in February.
Both Tish and Billy Ray have tied the knot since their split. For marriage Dominic Purcell in August 2023, when Billy Ray got married Firerose in October 2023. The insider noted that Noah and Braison were invited to Tish and Purcell’s wedding and “chose not to attend.”
According to the same source, Billy Ray “tried to reach Miley multiple times and congratulated her on the Grammys,” as the “Flowers” singer picked up her first Grammy earlier this year. The insider added that Miley is “very close” with her mother, saying, “The kids have chosen sides, but friends hope the split won’t be permanent.”
In June 2024, Miley told the manager David Letterman in the episode of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction that he “inherited narcissism from them [her] father,” said Billy Ray “almost gave me this map, and it’s a map of what I should do and what I shouldn’t do, and he guided me through both.” He added, “Without my father, I know … who I am I would not exist.”

“Noah and Tish are working on rekindling their relationship,” a source revealed exclusively Us in August. “It’s been a bit of a burnout and it’s been a lot of downsizing over the last few months, but Noah has been more open to the idea of having Tish back in his life.”
