They say I lie about everything about the king
LeBron James is apparently so sick of the internet and the constant jokes and nonsense, that he is taking a break.
Lakers rookie Dalton Knecht had a crazy 37 point game against the Jazz last night and LeBron was asked about it. You clearly know about endless memes.
“Everyone on the internet calls me a liar all the time. They say I lie about everything. So what am I now?” LeBron asked reporters after the game when asked about Knecht.
“I looked at him. I watched a lot of Tennessee. I watched a lot of Tennessee. I didn’t think he would fall for us. I thought it would never happen. I don’t know how that happened,” he said about how the Lakers ended up with Knecht at No.17.
Then a few hours later, LeBron announced that he would be taking a break on social media.
He first retweeted a message from Kevin Durant’s longtime agent, Rich Kleiman, about how much disrespect there is on social media — a message he wrote on October 25.
“With so much hatred and disagreement in the world today, it baffles me why some of the national sports media still think that the best way to report on sports is to take negative things,” said Kleiman. “We can all agree that sports are the last part of society that unites people around the world. So why can’t coverage do the same? You only click the bait when you say it. When the platform is so big, you can make a difference and let us all escape from the evils of real life. I for one find it a waste of time. The Olympics and the JJ and Bron show were the future of what this could and should all be.
Bron then followed that up by pulling the mic.
And with that he said I will congratulate you! Logging out of social media for now. Take care of yourselves ✌🏾👑
