Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes Walk the 2024 CMA Awards Red Carpet
Kelsea Ballerini again Chase Stokes they know how to own a red carpet, and their appearance at the 2024 Country Music Association Awards was no exception.
Singer, 31, and Foreign Banks The star, 32, asked for photos before the Wednesday, November 20, awards show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Ballerini stunned in a silver sequined floor-length dress, styling her hair in loose waves. Stokes, meanwhile, rocked a black suit.
While the duo mostly stuck together on the carpet, Stokes was sure to let his girlfriend shine on her big night. “Okay, see you all!” he laughed as he jumped up for Ballerini to do it on her own.
Stokes was there to support Ballerini as she battled for two awards: Female Vocalist of the Year and Musical Event of the Year for her “Cowboys Cry Too” no. Noah Kahan.
Ballerini and Stokes were first linked in January 2023 after connecting through DMs. Since then, the pair have become regulars on the red carpet, often flaunting stylish accessories and sweet PDA.
Last month, the couple jumped into various discussions while promoting Ballerini’s new album, Patternsand the fourth season of the Netflix series Stokes, Foreign Banks – both released in October.
“I honestly think when you find someone who’s not only your crush or crush, but also your best friend, you’ve got the best of both worlds,” Stokes said. Today show on October 3. “And he’s not just a classy person, but everything you see—whether it’s on social media or on stage—isn’t a person if they’re not doing those things.”
As for what’s next for the pair, Stokes played coy but teased that he and Ballerini are on the same page.
“We have a voice in our house. It says, ‘Let’s do the next thing that’s right,’ and that’s helped us a lot this time, and it’s helped us well almost two years ago,” he said at the time. “That’s where we are, the next right thing.”
For now, Stokes and Ballerini are focused on supporting each other through their careers.
“I think we both have our own versions [fame]and he has been submissive on both sides as well [we’re] just fighting for each other,” he added. “It’s been a year of many victories, so it was good to have someone around you to help you, to support the wave.”
Ballerini, on the other hand, told People later that month Stokes has been “a huge, beautiful part of my life for almost two years now” and is “really proud of the art he’s inspired.”
“And I am very proud to have someone who speaks the truth in his art,” he continued. “And to align in that way and share parts of our relationship and that kind of stuff, openly and honestly, is really good.”
