In a recent interview with People magazine, Jelly Roll, born Jason Bradley DeFord, shared new details about how he managed his weight loss last year.
“The battle was against food addiction, it changed the way I looked at food 39 years ago,” he told the media. “I’ve never had a healthy relationship with food, so that was the hard part. But once you get into that discipline and commitment, it’s like an avalanche. Once that little snowball started rolling, it was on its way.”

“The war was accompanied by food addiction, it changed the way I looked at food 39 years ago.”
“It’s fun because there was a time when the culture I was building in tourism was the opposite. It was focused on alcohol and drugs,” said the 39-year-old. “And now our travel culture is closer to healthy eating and closer to exercise and emotional exploration with our team every day.”
