LaMelo Ball & Anthony Edwards Don’t Give a F*ck About the Rules

Some of the NBA’s brightest stars, including LaMelo Ball, have been in trouble in the past 24 hours and the league may have a hard time controlling them.

First, Anthony Edwards broke the hearts of Kings fans at the Golden 1 Center on Friday night after opening the game with 60 points from De’Aaron Fox in a win over the T-Wolves.

With 3:15 left in the first half, Edwards was called for a foul. Soon after, television cameras captured him pointing a finger at the stands as he headed for his team’s bench.

Ant was fined $35,000 by the NBA for “obscene behavior on the court”. He finished the game with 36 points and had a big highlight.

In his locker room conversation after the game, obscenities kept coming up.

“My coach told me that I was playing soft in the 11/12 games,” he then added, “So I told him yesterday, I’m going to soak one of their ** so when I did it, I looked straight. him.”

He then watched a clip of his dunk and told the media, “Hm, motherf**ker. Yes, that felt good.”

Then, LaMelo Ball’s interview after the Hornets’ win over the Bucks ruffled some feathers.

He was asked about his team’s defense on Giannis Antetokounmpo in the fourth quarter, and he told him, “We loaded up, no homo”

The NBA acted quickly and the next day, Shams Charania reported that “The NBA has fined Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball $100,000 for offensive and disrespectful charges in Saturday’s postgame interview.”

LaMelo and Ant are two of the biggest stars in the NBA, but in some ways they are the opposite of the current stars of the game like Giannis and LeBron, who have relatively clean reputations.
