Fetterman declares ‘UN-level, rampant anti-Semitism,’ says he looks forward to confirming Elise Stefanik
Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., an ardent supporter of Israel, said he looks forward to voting to confirm Rep. Elise Stefanik, RN.Y., to serve as US Ambassador to the United Nations.
In a post written on X, the senator accused the international body of insisting on selling “standard, full-scale disagreement.”
The UN special committee’s report stated that “Israel’s policies and practices during the reporting period are consistent with the elements of genocide.”
Fetterman dismissed the report.

“The only constant is UN-level, rampant antisemitism. I reject this entire report. I look forward to voting for @RepStefanik to continue his strong and uncompromising position on Israel,” he tweeted.
President-elect Trump announced Stefanik as his pick for the role last week.
“You will be a wonderful Ambassador to the United Nations, bringing peace through Strength and America First National Security policies!” Trump said in a statement.

Fetterman also called Trump’s selection of Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., on the Secretary of State’s “tough decision,” noting that he looks forward to voting to confirm Rubio — another strong supporter of Israel — to serve in the role.
Fetterman has been vocal in his support for Israel since the horrific attacks on Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas against the US coalition.
