Lance Bass Talks Fatherhood, Celebrating Ten Years With Husband Michael
Lance Bass provided Us with an update on fatherhood, and her upcoming 10-year anniversary with her husband Michael Turchin.
“It’s weird because unfortunately we got married on December 20, and Christmas, you know, except for Halloween, is my thing. So I always remember our anniversary completely. I’m like, ‘Oh s—, it’s our anniversary.’ So we always do something in the summer to celebrate our anniversary,” Lance, 45, told Self. Us Weekly at the 6th annual Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala on Friday, November 15, at Maybourne Beverly Hills.
“So, this summer, we’re going to do a surprise 10-year anniversary,” the former ‘NSYNC singer continued. “I don’t know how it will be, but I’ve been looking forward to this, because on your wedding night, you don’t enjoy it that much because you’re always talking on the fly.” with.”
He added, “I was not there and I was there. I want to throw a nice little anniversary party. We don’t do anything fancy or anything like that, just bring the same people to the wedding and have a really good party.”
Bass and Turchin, 37, tied the knot in 2014. The pair welcomed twins – son Alexander and daughter Violet – in October 2021 via surrogate. Bass said Us that his now-year-old twins were “in the triple boy category”.
“I heard about it and it’s really my daughter,” she said. “Just one, and I know what it is. Bad screen time. We don’t do pills much, but if you’re on a plane, it’s the only thing. Every time we get on a plane and he uses the tablet all day, his mind goes into overdrive and he turns into a very crazy little boy.
He went on to say, “They changed their minds. There’s something, I’m sure they’ve done studies, but it hurts your brain when you’re on a tablet.”
Talking to Us last year, Bass shared that parenthood had strengthened her relationship with Turchin, saying the two had “bonded” a lot. “It’s amazing,” he shared in February 2023.
Bass echoes that sentiment when talking to him Us Friday, saying Turchin was “absolutely amazing” as a parent. “I knew he was going to be a good father, but he’s a crazy father,” Bass said of her husband. “They love him a lot. He takes moments when I’m on the road. You are amazing.”
When asked if there was one thing she loved about her husband after 10 years together, Bass joked, “That he’s still with me,” before adding, “We’re together forever.”
