The ATP and FITP today announced that the ATP Finals will be played in Italy for another five years, until 2030. The extension follows a five-year period to 2025 in Turin, where the ATP season finale has done well.
The Nitto ATP Finals has been a resounding success in Italy, cementing its legacy as the world’s biggest sporting event and the crowning glory of the Tour. This year in Turin, the event attracted a record audience of over 183,000, with all 15 sessions sold out over eight days. Prize money in 2024 reached $15.25 million – an all-time tournament record. With another five years of cooperation, ATP and FITP will continue to drive progress, leveraging Italy’s position as one of the strongest and most established tennis markets in the world.
ATP chairman Andrea Gaudenzi he said: “For the past four years, Italy has proven itself to be a wonderful host of our most prestigious event, with the idea of creating a truly special experience for players and fans. Thank you to FITP and all our event partners for supporting us over the past four years. We look forward to continuing to raise the bar together.”
FITP President Angelo Binaghi he said: “Tennis has a special place in the history and culture of this country. The Nitto ATP Finals is loved by Italian fans, and this connection is now stronger than ever with Jannik Sinner as World No.1. We look forward with excitement, confident in knowing that this event will continue to grow even more in the years to come.”
More than 2025 location options are under evaluation, and more updates will be provided later.
