Pro Athletes React to Mike Tyson and Jake Paul’s Boxing Match
At the end of the highly anticipated and highly anticipated Netflix event, Jake Paul stunned spectators and professional athletes when he was declared the winner in a boxing match against a famous fighter Mike Tyson.
“It is such an honor. He is a legend. He’s the greatest that ever made it. I’m inspired by him,” said Paul, 27, on Friday, November 15, after his unanimous victory. “This man is a shadow. It’s an honor to be able to fight him. It was really hard, as I expected.”
While Tyson, 58, once said he would bring “the devil” to the ring, it wasn’t enough to win over the social media influencer.
“I didn’t prove anything to anyone, I only proved myself. “I’m not one of those guys who wants to please the world,” Tyson said after his loss, which was his first fight since 2005. “I’m happy with what I can do.”
However, other sports countries are not happy with Paul’s victory. Keep scrolling for all their reactions:

The retired British boxer was delighted to see “stupid kid” Paul showing “respect” to Tyson by not going in for a KO.
“I don’t like this stupid kid but I will say this. “He stopped beating Mike there and showed him respect and dignity by letting him live,” Bellew wrote about X. “He didn’t go to KO when he left him. Mike, we all love your boss [sic] a hero for all of us from the fighting business proper!”
Magic Johnson
Johnson called the game “just sad” in a tweet.
“I cut it because I can’t watch anymore. It’s sad to see Mike Tyson like this because I used to go to all of Tyson’s fights,” wrote this NBA student. “This fight tonight was not good boxing.”

The football star, who fought for Tyson, called Paul’s win “disappointing on all accounts” in an X message.
