Byron Donalds delivers on Dem Trump’s ‘lies,’ says there’s one metric he’ll use to lead

Florida Republican Rep. Byron Donald criticized Democrats for inciting and spreading “lies” about what Donald Trump’s second administration will look like, saying Trump is focused on creating “success” for all Americans.

“To the American people who have been listening to these lies from the Democratic left: I will tell you, this is not something that Donald Trump has ever talked about or committed to at all. There is no enemy list. I mean, yes, there are people who were against him, but he is focused on the American people,” Donalds told Shannon Bream. on “Fox News Sunday” when asked about Americans who report fearing a second Trump administration.

“Job one is securing our border and starting a program to deport illegal immigrants from our country. Job two is getting our economy growing again, stronger again. That’s what he’s focused on. He’s focused on the American people, not some enemies. Lists only mentioned in Daily Kos or Salon .com or any other site like that,” he said.

Trump closed the presidential election early last Wednesday, after winning states such as Pennsylvania and Georgia. He ultimately received 312 Electoral College votes to Harris’ 226, and won the popular vote. During and after his campaign, Democrats and left-leaning media pundits said Trump would re-enter the Oval Office armed with an “enemies list” of those he would allegedly target if elected president.

Donalds said America’s success is Trump’s biggest concern, and said that metric will be used to show that Trump is “back in charge of this nation.”

“He is focused on making our country great. What will happen in our country is that success will be the metrics that he will use to show that he is back in the White House and that he is back in charge of this nation. The metric is success. There is no other measure,” he continued.

Donalds continued his discussion Sunday morning on Fox News that Trump’s victory was helped by black and Hispanic voters. Trump has made inroads with minority communities this year in 2020, with a Fox News Voter Analysis survey finding that he gained a six-point advantage among Hispanic voters this year in 2020, and a seven-point advantage among black voters.

“What you heard from Black men, and you heard from Hispanic men, you also heard, in part, urban women: They want a safe country. They want a prosperous economy. And Donald Trump will deliver on all those promises,” he said.

“I heard the same thing talking to Black men and I don’t hear them talking to anyone in our country. How are we going to move forward and make a lot of money, be able to pass something on to our children? How are we going to protect this down at the border. It’s not right to have illegals coming in, getting gas cards, getting hotel accommodations and so on Cards, these food cards are because of Donald Trump and because he won,” said Donalds.
