Marlon Brando Brought Back to Life by Billy Zane in Best Original Pictures

If you are a fan of film and television, you may recognize the name Billy Zane through his performances in projects like this one Back to the Future, Twin Peaks, The Titanicor a few recent episodes of Boys. Thanks to a new set of first-look photos, however, the actor will surely soon be recognized as the author who is able to resurrect one of the best actors in cinema of modern times. According to an exclusive report in Variety, cinema icon Marlon Brando will be played by Billy Zane in the upcoming biopic titled. Traveling with Brando.

The first photos of the upcoming indie film Marlon Brando are portrayed by Billy Zane in incredible detail – so much so that some fans could easily be fooled into thinking the photos represent the genuine article. At this point, the audience hasn’t heard Zane’s line read, so there’s no way to know if he captured Brando’s voice as well as his appearance. Still, even if Zane takes out just a fraction of Brando’s grunt Father speech pattern, you’ll be in high contention for an Academy Award.

The Marlon Brando biopic will be premiered by Billy Zane in November during Italy’s Torino Film Festival, with the likes of Tia Carrere, Richard Dreyfuss, Jon Heder, Camille Razat, and Hot Tub Time MachineRob Corddry casting the cast.

At the moment, there’s no word on when the Marlon Brando biopic will get a wide release within the United States, so there’s no telling when general audiences will see Billy Zane in action. Still, the film’s upcoming Torino Film Festival should be a good sign that it’s ready to find a distributor. Traveling with Brando is said to be the highlight of this year’s lineup at the festival, along with many other programs designed to celebrate this Hollywood legend, as this year marks the 100th anniversary of the actor’s birth.
